Welcome to the Industrial Pollution Podcast.

So let me begin with answering the basic questions.
"Why are you guys doing this?
To put it simply I am a rabid podcast listener and was stunned to discover that there were no podcasts going into the history or doing critical analysis of the industrial genre. So I talked to my friend Dave Vosburgh who is a fellow industrial music fanatic and we made a plan.

"So what is the plan anyway?"
Well each episode we're going to talk about a album, band, genre or element of the history of industrial music. As we go along suggestions are welcome tell us about bands you want to hear and if you have a band let us know where to find your music. Industrial at least in the United States is form of music that could stand to be energized some more.

"How long are you going to keep doing this?"
Uh for however long it keeps our interest.

"What makes you guys experts?"
We're not. I mean most of my research is done via Youtube and google. Sadly the history of the genre is poorly documented and in a way we're trying to fix that.
Keep in Mind my partner in Crime Dave Vosburghand I are basically huge fans of the genre who also dabble in electronic music and other mediums.
If you know of any good sources of information regarding the genre, please tell us as we always want to learn more.

We hope to release at least one episode a month and the pace may pick up depending on the reaction we get.

Now then our first episode will be on Skinny Puppy's album VIVIsect VI
